A 12-YEAR-old girl has been arrested after pulling a classmate to the ground before violently kicking her in the face.

       Footage of the horror attack, which Sun Online has chosen not to share, showed the schoolgirl approach another girl.

       She swears at her before pulling her to the ground when she tries to walk away.

       As she falls to the floor the girl lands multiple kicks to her head.

       The video ends with the victim running away in tears.

       Sharing it online one X, formerly Twitter, user wrote: "Absolutely shocking in Wythenshawe, Manchester.

       "Young girl with learning difficulties back in to a corner and and kicked in the face. Absolute scum bag… watch at your own discretion."

       A 12-year-old girl has since been arrested on suspicion of assault and was bailed while the investigation continues, according to a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police.

       Detective Superintendent Wesley Knights of GMP’s City of Manchester South district said: “We understand the concern this incident has raised in the local community and assaults of any kind will not be tolerated by GMP.

       “Our local patrols in and around the area have been tailored to ensure we continue to provide a visible reassurance to the community in the coming days.

       “I would also encourage anyone with additional information that may help officers with their enquiries to call 101 quoting incident 2549 of 12/09/2023 as we understand there were a number of witnesses to the assault.”
