Three people, all of whom appeared to be teenagers, were shot Sunday afternoon at a Metro station in Prince George’s County, the transit system said.
All three were taken to hospitals after the incident at the Branch Avenue station, a Metro spokesman said. The gunfire occurred about 5:15 p.m. near the bus bay at the Branch Avenue Station, according to the spokesman.

One person was taken into custody and a handgun was found, the spokesman said.
At least some of those involved apparently left the rail station together, according to the spokesman.
One of the victims was hit at least twice. Details of the ages and condition of those hit could not be learned immediately.
The Branch Avenue station is south of Suitland Parkway in the Marlow Heights/Camp Springs area.
