TWO residents living at a nursing home in Ipoh have found love and decided to get hitched, China Press reported.
Cai Mei Yan, 63, describes her new husband Tu Ben Jian, 68, as funny and a good person who cares for her.
She said that he would often take the time to prepare sliced apples and peel the skin off grapes for her.
The couple sought the blessings of the management of the nursing home to get married.
After granting the approval, the home held a wedding reception for the pair on Aug 26.
As part of the ceremony, Tu rode a trishaw around the compound of the home with Cai on it, while other residents even got to enjoy a buffet lunch.

> Martial arts star Donnie Yen was criticised after his bodyguards yelled at passers-by to move, Sin Chew Daily reported.
The drama happened recently when Yen, 60, attended an event in Shenyang, China.
He was seen with bodyguards who escorted him to the venue.
Internet users criticised the actor for encroaching on their right to be in public space.
“Why should I move aside? Have you reserved the entire street? Does it mean when ordinary people see a celebrity, they should dutifully step aside?” one wrote.
Yen, one of the highest paid actors in Asia, is best known for playing the titular character in the martial arts series Ip Man.
