       Prince Charles has privately described Priti Patel’s Rwanda asylum plan as appalling, it emerged on Friday night.

       3. Ukraine ‘will swap’ prisoners to secure freedom of British soldiers

       Ukraine “will swap” prisoners to secure the release of the two captured Britons who were sentenced to death, the country’s ambassador to the UK said on Friday.

       Vadym Prystaiko suggested that the men – both serving members of the Ukrainian military who were detained in the breakaway Donetsk People’s Republic – will be released in exchange for prisoners held by Ukrainian forces. Read the full story.

       4. ‘Absolute fool’: Prince Andrew embroiled in another debt battle

       The Duke of York has been branded an “absolute fool” after becoming embroiled in another £1.6 million debt battle.

       5. Vegan school meals on the menu under Boris Johnson’s ‘grow for Britain’ strategy

       Boris Johnson is to announce the first review of the UK’s food strategy in 75 years as he seeks to tackle food security and the cost of living.
