A man has tragically died after breaking into a building site, climbing a construction crane and falling from a "significant height". The North West Ambulance Service told the Daily Express they were called at 3.04pm on Tuesday to the construction site Manchester Science Park, in Hulme, to reports a man had "fallen from a crane."

Building site contractor firm Willmott Dixon revealed the man was not a worker - but instead had broken into the site and tried to climb their towering crane. Despite efforts the man, whose injuries are not known but he reportedly also suffered a cardiac arrest, was pronounced dead at the scene.
