TAIWANESE-American singer Wilber Pan, who is seldom seen in public with his newly wedded wife Luna Xuan, gave fans a rare treat after he was photographed sharing an embrace in public, China Press reported.

Pan was spotted having dinner with friends and left the restaurant together with Xuan.

As they stepped out of the restaurant in Taiwan, Pan and Xuan could be seen sharing a hug by the roadside. The couple then continued to hold hands and chat.

“I hope both of you continue to be happy!” a fan wrote.

The entertainment circle was taken by surprise in July last year when Pan announced out of the blue that he was married to Xuan.

       > The daily also reported that a dog in Tampin, Negri Sembilan, was spotted wandering around wearing a brassiere.

The incident took place in Taman Indah at around 1pm when the dog ws spotted wearing a bright pink brassiere.

Several locals tried to unhook the undergarment from the dog’s torso. However, the dog started behaving aggressively and ran away.

       > A police officer in Hubei, China, managed to calm down a woman who was attempting to cut herself using a meat cleaver by giving her milk tea, the daily also reported.

The incident took place recently in Jinzhou city where the woman was found crying by the roadside and holding a meat cleaver.

A female police officer deployed to the scene managed to convince her to exchange the meat cleaver for a cup of milk tea.

Her act was lauded by Internet users who also mused that the crying woman, like many people in China, just could not resist the temptation of a cup of milk tea.

       > The Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Huazong) lauded the recent memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing between the government and Pakatan Harapan, urging politicians from both sides to deliver on their promises, Sin Chew Daily reported.

Its president Tan Sri Goh Tian Chuan said the MOU was in line with the King’s advice and would bring political stability and economic recovery to the country.

“Since everyone is determined to support and sign the MOU, there must be an equal amount of dedication to make it a reality,” Goh said.
