       KUWAIT CITY, June 1: Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait Zhang Jianwei has affirmed the strength of Kuwaiti-Chinese relations in various fields; citing the coordinated efforts of both countries to further strengthen their ties, reports Al- Qabas daily. Jianwei urged Kuwaitis to visit China, especially after lifting Corona restrictions in April.

       He said his country is known for its beautiful tourist destinations throughout the year, considering its huge size. He disclosed the number of Kuwaitis visiting China doubled this year compared to the previous year, as the number of visas issued in the first quarter of this year reached 970; while last year’s number totaled 630. He added the standard processing period for a regular visit visa is four working days and three working days if the procedure is expedited, indicating the visa application is submitted online. On the other hand, Jianwei confirmed that a Chinese cultural delegation will visit Kuwait in June to fortify cooperation on cultural and human resources matters between the two countries.
