In spite of unlocking measures taken across the country, retail activity continued to get severely hit in June.

       A recent survey by Retailers Association of India reveals, activities at pan-India level remained at 50 per cent compared to the same period in 2019 with eastern region hit the most. While key categories like personal care, jewellery, clothing and footwear continued to lag, grocery and quick service restaurants sectors recovered quickly.
