KAJANG: Police are investigating an alleged fight between a group of people in Semenyih.

       Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zaid Hassan, in a statement, said the police were notified of the incident at 6am Tuesday (Nov 16).

       "The alleged fight occurred in front of a shop in Seksyen 5 Bandar Rinching. When the police arrived, the suspects and victims were gone.

       "However, two cars that were damaged there were found, which we believe were left behind by the group. Efforts to trace the victims and suspects are underway," he said.

       A motive has yet to be established and the police have classified the case under Section 148 of the Penal Code for rioting with weapons.
