       KUWAIT CITY, May 17: A large number of Health Ministry employees have registered online for the conversion of their unused leave days into cash, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources. Sources said the ministry has implemented a new mechanism for the encashment of unused leave days to prevent crowding and to ensure that employees do not leave their workplaces.

       Sources explained the leave encashment request is registered online by inputing the civil identification number and number of leave days for encashment. Sources disclosed the number of unused leave days is verified in coordination with the audit authorities. Sources added around 15,000 employees have so far submitted their leave encashment applications either online or to their direct supervisors, indicating the deadline for submission is on June 30.
