Prince George and Princess Charlotte take seats at Wimbledon
Avid tennis fan Princess Kate opted for various shades of green for her outfits on her three appearances at Wimbledon this year, with her 1980s style mint green Balmain blazer and pleated white midi skirt from day two of the tournament winning over Express.co.uk readers in a new poll.
Kate has been patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club since 2016 and is a regular in the Royal Box, attending SW19 to watch several matches, with many royal fans admiring her courtside fashion.
The Princess of Wales is often seen wearing bright colours or polka dot prints and showing off her sustainability by repeating dresses from her wardrobe at the tournament.
In a poll that ran from 7am on Saturday, July 8 to 10.30am on Monday, July 17, Express.co.uk asked readers: “Which was Princess Kate’s best Wimbledon outfit?”
Overall, 1,002 votes were cast with her most popular outfit, with 25 percent (254 people) of the vote, being her first look of 2023, which channelled Princess Diana.

In the comments left below the accompanying article, username AReader said: “The [first] 2023 outfit is my favourite because the separates come together in a more casual look than the dresses. I also love the mint green/white colour palette.”
Kate’s bright yellow midi dress from London-based Serbian designer Roksanda Ilin？i？ which she wore to the 2022 women's singles final was the second most popular, securing 20 percent (206 people) of the vote.
Her Alessandra Rich navy polka-dot dress for the men’s singles final last year came in third with nine percent (85 people) voting for it.

While Kate’s cap-sleeve green Emilia Wickstead dress from the 2021 women’s singles final also proved to be a favourite, raking in eight percent (82 people).
Kate’s Broderie Anglaise Zimmerman Roamer dress from 2014 and her Alessandra Rich blue pleated polka-dot dress from day nine of Wimbledon last year each received five percent with 51 and 50 votes respectively.
Her other dresses each received less than four percent of the vote, while 34 people answered “other” and a further 24 people said they did not know.

Many readers said they found it hard to choose between Kate’s looks, with username jewells writing: “She looked gorgeous in every outfit. I cannot choose just one. She always looks beautiful and glamorous.”
Another, username RoyalWatcher said: “She looks fantastic in everything she wears.”
And username bensonoscar added: “Hard to pick one, but those that allow her to be ‘seen’ are the winners.”
