PETALING JAYA: More than 43% of the total population have been fully vaccinated as of Friday.
According to data shared by the Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) on Twitter, a total of 33,388,102 doses have been administered so far.
This comprises 19,090,140 people (58.5%) having received at least one dose, and 14,297,962 (43.8%) being fully vaccinated.
The percentage of vaccination for the adult population is at 81.5% for the first dose, and 61.1% for the second dose.
JKJAV said a total of 343,900 Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered on Friday, of which 141,492 people received their first dose while 202,408 received their second.
Johor has the highest first dose administered at 27,776, followed by Perak (23,782), Kedah (20,152), and Sabah (17,416).
On those who have received both doses, Selangor recorded the highest at 33,260, followed by Johor (30,690), Sabah (30,297), Kuala Lumpur (18,661), Pahang (17,851), Penang (14,544), Perak (13,968), Melaka (13,146) and Kedah (12,378).
