A RECORD number of porn addicts are seeking help after getting hooked on OnlyFans content.

       There has been a 25 per cent rise in those wanting to wean themselves off filth.

       In England alone the figures are up 15 per cent from 8,506 in 2022 to 9,840 this year, while in Wales numbers soared from 267 to 339 over the same period.

       In Northern Ireland there was a 66 per cent increase — from 168 to 280 — in those contacting the UK Addiction Treatment Group.

       But worst was Scotland where those reporting problems with porn addiction ballooned by 170 per cent from 584 to 1,582.

       The findings, shared with The Sun on Sunday, follow a spate of stories involving OnlyFans, the subscription site where anyone can share explicit content.

       Last week, we told how the UK’s first OnlyFans millionaire Dannii Harwood, 41, was fighting with her ex over possession of a ￡1.2million house and flat.

       Earlier this month we reported ex-Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona, 42, overcame bankruptcy after making a seven-figure fortune on the site.

       Nuno Albuquerque, head of treatment for the UK Addiction Treatment Group, said the pandemic had driven more users online.

       He added: “We’re seeing more and more people seeking help for their porn addiction than ever before.
