COSMETICS millionaire Datuk Seri Vida said she was not disparaging the White Flag movement but only wanted to rebuke those who gave excuses on why they could not start a business, Utusan Malaysia reported.Vida said anyone could start a business without using the “lack of capital” excuse as a barrier, adding opportunities could come if they were hardworking.
“I am not one who looks down on any party, but I am just someone who speaks frankly.
“I am not against the White Flag movement. Maybe once or twice, people will help you, but what if it is the fourth and fifth time?,” she said.
There was a public backlash against Vida when a video of her berating those who hoisted white flags to request assistance as being “lazy” went viral.
In the video, she is seen speaking without a mask, prompting many to suggest that she had violated the standard operating procedure that requires a face mask to be worn in public areas.
Sinar Harian reported, and escaped death by slashing the animal with a machete.
Adin Andok, 43, suffered injuries to both hands and his eyes in the attack at Kampung Badak, Pos Bihai in Kelantan on Monday.
Kenwak Adin, 25, said he was grateful that his father survived the terrifying incident.
Adin is reportedly in a stable condition after receiving treatment. He has been referred to Hospital Kuala Krai for further treatment.
The news report, however, did not say what happened to the tiger after it was slashed.
