A BRAVE bride showed the strength of her love by dangling off her husband's arm - on the edge of a 1,900ft CLIFF.

Ryan Myers, 30, and wife Skye, 28, from Arkansas, US, wanted a big wedding but had to downsize the ceremony over lockdown.

The couple, who are avid adventurers, decided to celebrate their wedding at Hawksbill Crag, an iconic cliff on the Whitaker Point hiking route in the state.

For the occasion, photographer Mason Gardner captured breathtaking snaps of Ryan and Skye holding hands while standing on the edge of the cliff.

In one photo, Skye seems about to fall off the top of the rock face, though in another image, it is revealed she was in fact tied to a safety rope.

Ryan said: “We are avid adventures and love the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, boating, camping rotate spots on our agenda, so we are always looking for the next epic adventure.

“Somewhere in the middle of June this year, after being together for more than four years, I told her I didn’t want to wait any longer not being married to her.

“We wanted a big wedding, but had minimal time to plan it because Skye started nursing school, and with the [Centre for Disease Control] having their regulations we were having difficulties deciding on how to proceed with a wedding.

The wedding took place at Hawksbill Crag with about 12 guests during a lockdown last summer, and it was at the end of the ceremony that the breath-taking photo-shoot was made.

Ryan said: “For the photos, Skye was in a sit harness designed for climbing.

“Everyone included had experience and was well-trained in climbing.

“All equipment and safety gear used was inspected and cleared by an expert.

“Our crew was made up of myself, my best man Gage, Skye and her sister Summer, one rappelling expert and our photographer who was amazing!”
