PETALING JAYA: Traffic congestion was reported along several stretches of highways as people made their way back home to the Klang Valley from other states as the long weekend came to an end yesterday.

       According to the Malaysia Highway Authority, traffic was slow-moving along the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway.

       “Traffic is slow-moving from Karak to the Bentong toll plaza, Genting Sempah to the Gombak toll plaza, and the Gombak toll plaza to the Middle Ring Road 2 towards Sri Gombak.

       “Traffic was also slow along the Penang Bridge from Prai towards the Island,” it said in several tweets on its official account.

       It added that traffic was also slow along several stretches of the North South Expressway on both sides of the highway.
