THE King of Mandopop, Jay Chou was stumped by the Christmas wish of his six-year-old daughter, Sin Chew Daily reported.
“I am Hathaway and I am six years old. I behaved well this year. I would like to have something white and related to cat, thank you,” wrote the girl in her letter to Santa.
A photo of the letter was shared online by Chou’s Taiwanese-Australian wife Hannah Quinlivan.
Both Chou and Quinlivan said they were bewildered by the request and asked their fans for suggestions.
“If she wants something white and related to cats, how about getting her a white mouse?” Chou quipped.
Chou and Quinlivan were married in 2015. Besides Hathaway, they have a four-year-old son named Romeo.
> Five thieves in Thailand’s Songkhla province stole 15 million baht (RM1.9mil) worth of jewellery and valuables by dressing up in personal protective equipment (PPE), China Press reported.
They managed to sneak into a wholesale market on Dec 12 and gained access to one of the offices there without being noticed by anyone.
They then drilled a hole at the back of a 1.5m safe before making away with six luxury watches, jewellery, precious stones and cash.
Based on CCTV footage, police found that three of the thieves were covered in white PPE while the other two were in black PPE.
Since none of their faces could be identified in the video footage, the operator of the market hoped that police could find fingerprints at the scene in order to track down the thieves.
