Authorities have identified a 13-year-old boy who was killed this week in a vehicle crash in Prince George’s County.

       Police said Edwin Macias-Baxcajay of Clinton died in the Tuesday evening crash involving two cars around 6:15 p.m. in the 4800 block of Allentown Road near the Capital Beltway in the Suitland area.

       The teen was a passenger in a car that was headed north. As the driver turned into a shopping center the car hit another vehicle. The teen was taken to a hospital, where he died, police said.

       Both drivers suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The crash is under investigation.
