A 3-year-old boy was injured Monday in a shooting while riding in a car in Lawndale, police said.
The boy was riding in a vehicle heading west in the 3700 block of West 16th Street shortly before 4 p.m. when he was grazed in the lower back by a bullet, according to police.
The driver, a 24-year-old woman, took the child to Loretto Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.
Detectives were investigating.
