SINGAPORE – A 64-year-old man was taken conscious to hospital after the bicycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a car at the junction of Paya Lebar Road and Airport Road on July 31.
Videos of the incident posted on social media show a man cycling across the junction as the red man pedestrian signal is on.
A car collides with the man and his bicycle, and the impact flings the cyclist towards the traffic light.
The car then moves out of the frame of the video as several other vehicles pass the man, who can be seen moving as he remains lying on the ground.
The police said they were alerted to the accident at about 7am on July 31.
The 61-year-old car driver is assisting with ongoing police investigations.
