       Despite the pandemic and the postponement of the next UN Conference on Climate Change, the relevance of the climate agenda is constantly growing. The Paris Agreement set a new trajectory for the development of the world economy and formed a stable trend towards decarbonisation. The pandemic has led to the green transformation of the global economy. Over the past year, the green assets and investment sector has shown itself to be more successful than the traditional sectors, the volume of green bonds being issued has grown.

       In many countries around the world, the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is becoming increasingly important in the formulation of national development programmes. At the end of 2019, the EU announced the start of the European Green Deal and today intends to compete for the title of leader in green digital transformation. In recent years, Russia has been paying more attention to the problem of climate change and the introduction of new, more environmentally friendly technologies. According to the government's estimates, by 2030 a number of activities can be expected to establish a green economy in Russia.
