The boy was arrested Monday in the 10600 block of South Avenue O in the East Side neighborhood on the Far South Side, police said. He is also facing charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number.
Police say the teen was identified as one of the people involved in the May 28 fatal shooting of a man in his 20s at a gas station in the 8300 block of South Stony Island Avenue in the Marynook neighborhood.
