A man was shot early Saturday at a hotel in Crystal City and suffered injuries that weren’t life-threatening, Arlington County police said.

       The shooting occurred at Embassy Suites by Hilton Crystal City National Airport, the hotel confirmed.

       Shortly before 2 a.m., police said, officers responded to a shooting in the 1300 block of S. Eads Street in Arlington. Officers found a man in a hotel parking lot with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, police said.

       Detectives found evidence in the hotel hallway “confirming multiple shots had been fired inside the hotel,” police said.

       “We can confirm there was a shooting at Embassy Suites by Hilton Crystal City National Airport,” a hotel spokesperson said in a statement. “We worked quickly with the Arlington County Police Department to ensure the situation was resolved quickly and safely and are cooperating fully with their investigation.”

       Police said the investigation is continuing.
