       Anytime we’re talking highs safely below 90 in August in the DMV, like we’ve seen so far this week, that’s a pretty big win! That continues to be the case today and tomorrow before a warmer Friday. The weekend reverts back to more typical August weather with highs closer to 90, more humidity, and the chance of a shower or storm.

       Today (Wednesday): Another mostly cloudy morning before skies turn partly sunny this afternoon. Can’t rule out a midday shower mainly south and east of D.C. Otherwise we’re looking at morning temperatures rising into the 70s with afternoon highs near 80 to the low 80s, with a steady breeze from the northeast around 10 mph.
