The posting said the man was last known to be on the south side of the base near Blanchard Barracks. He was possibly carrying a Gucci bag.
The base is located off I-295 near Congress Heights.
The Facebook alert urged people to run if they encounter this person, and hide behind barricaded doors if possible. “If you are hiding, prepare to fight,” the alert says.
Authorities did not immediately describe what led to the alert.
