A motorcyclist was killed Saturday in a collision in Riverdale Park, Prince George’s County police said.

       William Alvarez, 25, of Glenarden, was going west on Good Luck Road about 7:45 a.m. and crossed into the eastbound lanes to try to pass vehicles in front of him, police said.

       One of those vehicles, an SUV, tried to turn left from Good Luck, and the motorcycle and SUV collided, according to police. The motorcyclist died at the scene, and the SUV driver suffered minor injuries, police said.

       Riverdale Park is a town within Prince George’s County.
