A 39-year-old District man was shot and killed Tuesday night in Prince George’s County, police said.

       Prince George’s officers were called to the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue in Takoma Park to investigate an “unresponsive male,” authorities said. They found Luis Antino Perez in an outdoor stairwell with gunshot wounds.

       Perez died at the scene.

       Homicide detectives are investigating his death.
