A man was fatally shot Saturday night in the Laurel area, the Prince George’s County police said.

       The victim was found at about 9:50 p.m. in a car near Baltimore Avenue and Mulberry Street, the police said.

       He was taken to a hospital where he died.

       No information was available about a suspect or motive.

       The site appeared to be a commercial area just outside the Laurel, Md., city limits.

       The homicide was apparently the third in little more than 24 hours in Prince George’s. They occurred at widely spaced locations and no connection seemed to exist among them.
