Vaccines minister Nadhim Zahawi will address the public from Downing Street today. The minister will take part in the latest Covid briefing, flanked by experts. People can expect an update on the national rollout as well as a briefing on the "Delta plus" Covid variant.

       Mr Zahawi is the minister in charge of the latest Covid briefing, which takes place from Downing Street's purpose-built conference centre.

       He will provide the next jab update this evening at 5pm.

       Brits should receive an update on the nation's vaccine efforts as the Government hopes to move its programme to counteract growing cases of the Covid Delta variant.
