Political commentator and Journalist Rachel Blevins attacked both the Joe Biden and George Bush administration for its war on terror. She argued that the Taliban has grown even stronger and will cause issues to the Afghanistan Government put in place by America. Ms Blevins said: "The talk is now looking at the Biden administration and saying congratulations.

"They finally ended the war in Afghanistan after almost two decades.

"That is the media's perception of it.

"But it becomes even more of a disaster because it becomes more clear that the US Government has not learnt from its actions in this country.

"You are talking about 20 years of spending billions of dollars every single year to continue a military occupation.

"To quite literally build new buildings and blow them up as they go along."

Ms Blevins also criticised the George Bush administration for its failure to defeat terrorism.

She said: "Clearly they didn't defeat terrorism in any kind.

"Actually they made the situation worse.

"You talk about a Government that wanted to go in there and defeat the Taliban.

"Well, not only has that not happened but the Taliban is more powerful than ever, they have more land than ever before.

"Now the United States, who is kind of backing away, all while knowing that the Government that they propped up and installed in this country stands no chance against the Taliban."

She concluded: "The US is not completely ending this war and they are not giving up complete control.

"They are leaving at least 650 troops around the embassy and capital.

"It is a disaster all around.

"Frankly we should be looking at trials right now for all the US officials who have committed war crimes in this country and have walked free these past two decades."
