Prince Harry, 36, and Queen Elizabeth II, 95, are extremely fond of one another and their affection has endured despite recent royal dramas. While Harry was back in Britain to unveil a new statue of his mother Princess Diana, he is reported to have flown back to the States on Thursday evening and is likely to have missed his grandmother who was in Scotland for Royal Week.

       Harry came back to the UK last Friday and left quarantine on Wednesday evening to attend a WellChild charity event at Kew Gardens before Thursday's much anticipated Princess Diana statue unveiling at Kensington Palace.

       The event was the first time Harry and Prince William, 39, reunited in public since Prince Philip's funeral and their cheerful demeanour seemed to suggest they had put their differences aside for the poignant engagement.

       Every year the Queen travels to Scotland for Holyrood Week (also known as Royal Week) and this year the visit clashed with Prince Harry's return.

       While the Queen's Scotland trip came to a close on Thursday she is likely to have missed the chance to reunite with Harry who returned to the States that evening, Hello Magazine reported.

       While Harry's travel plans have not been confirmed he understood to have left Britain without seeing his grandmother first.

       He hasn't been back in the UK since April and since then he has become a father for the second time having welcomed a daughter to the world on June 4.

       Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, 39, honoured the Queen by naming their daughter Lilibet, which is her childhood nickname and the name her late husband also used for her.

       Following the announcement of Baby Lili's birth Royal Family members, including the Queen, shared their delight at her arrival - Lili is her 11th great-grandchild.

       Harry is likely to have been keen to get back to his wife Meghan, Baby Lili and their son Archie, two, in California rather than push back his return in order to spend time with the Queen.

       Tensions between the Royal Household and the Sussexes have been running high in recent months ever since the couple's bombshell interview with Oprah.

       Following the sitdown, the Queen released a statement in reaction to allegations made by Meghan and Harry saying the issues would be dealt with by the family in private going forward.

       However, since then Harry has continued to air his grievances with the Firm in public, launching veiled attacks at Prince Charles's parenting skills while speaking on a podcast and during his Apple TV mental health series with Oprah.

       Nonetheless, this is unlikely to have affected the Queen's soft spot for her grandson and they are understood to have met on two occasions during Harry's last stint in the UK in April.

       Harry has been staying just up the road from Windsor Castle at Frogmore Cottage with his cousin Princess Eugenie.

       Whether or not the Duke had peace talks with senior royals while in Britain has not been confirmed.

       A language expert claimed the Duke seemed to be pining for his children as he spoke to parents at a children's charity even on Wednesday.

       Harry gave sweet updates on how both Archie and Baby Lili were doing.

       After analysing Harry's words, expert Judi James said: "Harry’s comments at the WellChild awards suggest a man who is missing his two children in the US and who might even be feeling pangs of guilt that he’s not back home helping Meghan cope with one new baby and one energetic toddler.

       "When he says ‘Two is definitely a juggle’ he hints he might be thinking how that ‘juggling’ will be going on with one parent missing."
