Metropolitan Police were called to reports of a collision outside of the station. A single decker 507 bus crashed into the back of another bus at 8.25am this morning. The victim is believed to be a pedestrian and one of the people injured was a bus driver. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene at 9am.
Pictures from the scene show the bus station in Terminus Place cordoned off.
The crash also took place in front of horrified commuters.
ITV political correspondant Simon Harris wrote on Twitter: "One person has died and two others have been injured after a crash involving two buses at Victoria Station."
London Traffic Watch added: "Victoria Station Bus Depot is closed due an accident, lots of emergency services at the scene."
Other pictures also show police cars at the bus station to prevent people from entering the scene.
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed a woman aged in her 30s died.
A spokesman said: "Police were called at 08.25am on Tuesday, August 10, to reports of a collision involving two buses and three pedestrians outside Victoria Railway Station.
"Emergency services attended and immediately provided first aid.
"One of the pedestrians, believed to be aged in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene at 09:00hrs.
"Her next of kin have yet to be informed.
"Two other people were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
"Terminus Place is currently closed to buses."
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 8.25am today (10 August) to reports of a road traffic collision at Victoria Bus Station.
"We sent three ambulance crews, two medics in cars, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer, an advanced paramedic, and our hazardous area response team.
"We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance.
"We treated three people at the scene, and took two of them to hospital.
"Sadly, a fourth person died at the scene."
