It may have been "hard" for Prince Harry to not be with Meghan Markle during his "stressful" visit, royal commentators have claimed. The Duke of Sussex travelled to the UK briefly to attend the unveiling of a new statue for his mother, Princess Diana. Royally Obsessed podcast host Rachel Bowie explained why he may have been "missing" the Duchess of Sussex especially this time.
She told listeners: "Harry arrived so soon before it started and left so soon after.
"I just think he misses Meghan, for one.
"Being in Kensington Sunken Gardens is a reminder of his mum, but it's also a reminder of Meghan.
"That's where their engagement photocall was."

Ms Bowie continued: "I feel like a lot of the times when you're at an event and your significant other isn't there, you really wish they were.
"It's just someone to talk to, someone to lean on.
"I think for Harry especially, Meghan is a strength in that way.
"Same for William - him and Kate have such a good rapport at every event."
The host added: "So I just think that that's hard to not be with their person in a stressful moment.
"You know everyone is putting this pressure on you to make appearances look okay and everything seem fine.
"All you want is your significant other there."

Ms Bowie told the podcast: "So I think that that might have been tough."
The Duchess of Cambridge did not attend the statue unveiling either.
Only a few people were invited, including the sculptor and Diana's remaining family members.
The event marked the second time William and Harry had been seen in public together since the Sussexes left the monarchy and the UK in 2020.
The first had been walking together in the coffin procession at Prince Philip's funeral.
