ITV and Channel 4 offices stormed by anti-vaxxers - Jon Snow targeted in angry scenes

       Channel 4 News presenter Jon Snow was also targeted, with protesters shouting at him. Video footage posted on Twitter shows Mr Snow approaching the office before he stops when he realises what is happening. Several protesters are outside, with police officers guarding the entrances.

       The protesters are then seen inside the building, with one man shouting through a megaphone.

       One protester is heard shouting "where’s Peston, get me Peston", in reference to ITV News Political Editor Robert Peston.

       The Metropolitan Police confirmed they are responding to a demonstration at a "private premises" at Gray's Inn Road in London.

       People have "unlawfully gained access to the building", with officers removing the protesters who have made their way in.

       The Met posted on Twitter: "Officers are responding to a demonstration at a private premises on Gray’s Inn Road, #Camden where people have unlawfully gained access to the building.

       "Officers are on scene engaging with building security and removing those who have gained entry."

       Journalist Shayan Sardarizadeh posted pictures on Twitter showing the protesters forcing their way into the ITN Productions building.

       He wrote alongside this: "A group of anti-vaccine protesters has entered the ITN Productions building in Central London.

       "Police officers are trying to block the gates to protect staff, who are currently locked in."

       Several people took to the social media platform to vent their fury.

       One tweeted: "These are anti-vax RIOTERS, not protesters."

       A second person wrote: "Feels like they are going a little further each time.

       "Eventually people are going to wind up getting hurt."

       Another commented: "I've yet to understand what they are trying to achieve."

       Earlier this month, furious protesters descended on Television House, the BBC's former headquarters in west London, clashing with police in an apparent attempt to storm the building as they voiced their concerns about Covid passports.

       Footage posted on social media showed demonstrators outside the doors of the building in White City, which was the BBC's former headquarters.

       Several police officers were seen standing outside and trying to guard the entrance to the building.

       At the time, a Met Police spokeswoman told Express.co.uk: "We are aware of a group of demonstrators who, having set off from Shepherds Bush Green shortly after 13:00hrs, are now gathered outside a commercial premises in Wood Lane, White City.

       "There have been no arrests but officers are in attendance and will continue to monitor the situation."
