Arriving at her Norfolk home by helicopter on Friday evening, the monarch is expected to remain at the property until Monday July 19. The 95-year-old was pictured behind the wheel of her Land Rover at Wood Farm Cottage.

In the pictures taken on Sunday, the Queen can be seen wearing a white top with a pink floral pattern and a green gilet.

She was also sporting some tinted sunglasses.

According to The Sun, John Warren, bloodstock and racing adviser to the Queen, could be seen in the passenger seat of the vehicle.

Mr Warren has served as racing adviser to the monarch for around 27 years.

He also sported dark sunglasses and wore a tweed suit with white shirt and matching green tie.

There was an additional male passenger seated in the back of the car.

It is the first time Her Majesty has visited the cottage, situated at the edge of the estate, since her husband tragically passed away in April aged 99.

After retiring from Public service in August 2017, Prince Philip is believed to have enjoyed a retirement at the property.

While the Queen continued her work at Buckingham Palace, Philip spent his time reading and painting at the cottage.

Philip and the Queen last retreated to the Norfolk cottage in September before returning to Windsor Castle for lockdown.

Horses were also pictured being led around Commodore Yard stables at the Sandringham estate.

The location is also where the process of breaking in yearling horses takes place.
