Royal commentator Angela Levin and talkRADIO's Mike Graham hit out at Prince Harry's "joker" behaviour during the unveiling of Princess Diana's statue. The pair also hit out at the Duke of Sussex for leaving the UK very quickly after Prince Philip's funeral and not spending enough time with the Queen.

Ms Levin said: "It was very interesting to see that Prince William went up to spend the day with her in Scotland.

"Then Princess Anne who is always there to help went up to spend the day with her.

"So she feels she is wrapped in a loving family and they will do things.

"While Harry scarpered off and I believe did not have time to speak to her."

Mr Graham replied: "He did leave rather quickly after that situation and also similarly after the unveiling of the statue in Kensington Gardens.

"The next day he was off wasn't he?"

Ms Levin interjected: "15 minutes later he was off after it."

Mr Graham responded: "He attempted to be playing a joker or jester type figure to his more serious brother."

Ms Levin added: "When I spent a long time with him, I noticed that when he is uncomfortable he becomes a joker."

The Daily Mail reported that the Duke of Sussex stayed for a polite drink after the ceremony came to a close at 2.45pm.

But that by 3.05pm Prince Harry was driven out of Kensington Palace.

Harry had been seen arriving for the statue unveiling at 1.32pm - just 28 minutes before it was due to start.

In a joint statement, William and Harry said: "Today, on what would have been our mother's 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength and character.

"Qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better.

"Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy.

"Thank you to Ian Rank-Broadley, Pip Morrison and their teams for their outstanding work, to the friends and donors who helped make this happen, and to all those around the world who keep our mother's memory alive."
