Prince Harry and Prince William's young children are unlikely to meet any time soon as current restrictions in the US state that British citizens are denied entry because of the ongoing pandemic. Whilst royal fans would love to see a "California Royal Family vacation" and a reconciliation between the Cambridges and Sussexes, it will have to wait until the health emergency has passed.

       Royal expert Molly Mulshine responded to the call for a Sussex-Cambridge family trip on the US Weekly podcast Royally Us.

       Ms Mulshine said: "It would be great to see but unfortunately, British citizens aren't allowed in the US right now, unless if you're married to a US citizen.

       "This is going to remain a pipe dream I think."

       Prince William and Kate's three young children have not seen their cousin Archie Harrison since November 2019.

       Not a single member of the Royal Family has had the chance to meet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's newest arrival, baby Lilibet "Lili" Diana.

       It was reported that the Queen had met the newborn through Facetime and had congratulated the couple.

       Archie Harrison was last in the UK as a six-month-old, before flying to North America and remaining there after his parents decided to leave the Royal Family.

       Under current coronavirus guidelines, most British nationals are unable to access the USA.

       Those with US citizenship, a visa, or a green card are able to fly to the US but are subject to quarantine requirements.

       Similarly, America is currently on the amber list for the UK, and any visitors must quarantine for 10 days and take 2 tests.

       Prince Harry has returned to London on two occasions since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

       In April, he returned for the funeral of his grandfather Prince Philip and walked behind the hearse with other family members.

       He most recently returned for the July 1 unveiling ceremony of a new statue dedicated towards his mother, Princess Diana.

       The Duke was joined by his brother Prince William in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace to reveal the bronze statue.

       Both times Prince Harry was quarantined at his UK residence in Windsor, Frogmore Cottage, and had to be tested before being allowed to leave isolation and meet other members of the Royal Family.

       Relations between the Sussexes and the Royal Family have been strained since January 2020, after the couple decided to step away from their roles as senior royals and relocate to California.
