Prince Harry will face pressure from the publishers to dish the dirt on Prince Wiliam and Kate Middleton, according to Andrew Pierce. Last week, it was announced that Harry, 36, is set to publish a literary memoir next year, promising to be an "accurate and wholly truthful" account of his life. The Daily Mail columnist told MailPlus' Palace Confidential that the publishers will want Harry to go "into more details" about his rows with William and Kate.

This comes after royal expert Ingrid Seward said last week that William would "come out of the memoir the worst".

The Royal Family is understood to be surprised by the memoir, amid fears of further embarrassing revelations.

Mr Pierce said: "His book is going to reveal more a lot more, presumably.

"The publishers will want more details about the breakdown with William, and the breakdown with Catherine."

He continued: "They will what to know what really went on when they left the funeral of Prince Philip and they walked back together.

"That moment allowed Harry and William to have that very public reunion of sorts.

"I suppose they will peel away even more layers of the relationship between the two brothers, which I think is really, really sad."

Mr Pierce later said that the couple were forced to "dish the dirt" and divulge more and more details about royal life to maintain their lifestyle.

He said: "They have to do this for him to remain relevant.

"He has disappeared off the face of the earth in the context of the Royal Family and he has to earn his bucks."

The memoir will cover Harry's lifetime in the public eye, including his time in the military, marriage, and fatherhood.

Harry said the memoir, to be published by Penguin Random House, will be written "not as the prince" he was, but as the man he has "become".

He said: "I'm writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become.

"I've worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story - the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned - I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.

"I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I've learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a first-hand account of my life that's accurate and wholly truthful."
