In footage shared by LBC's Rachael Venables, a male driver can be seen dragging a protester away from the crowd in a furious tirade. He can be heard telling them to "get out of the f***ing way". After being pulled away by other drivers, the man added: "We're going to f***ing lose our jobs because of them".
Surrey Police have asked motorists to avoid the area.
A spokesperson said: "We're currently overseeing a protest at J6 M25 reported just before 8am.
"A number of protesters from Insulate Britain are at the location, slip road closed and diversion being set up.

"Please avoid the area for the time being."
Former chief constable Sir Hugh Orde has condemned the protest.
Speaking to Nick Ferrari on LBC, Sir Hugh said: "A clear message needs to be sent.
"A right to a peaceful protest is a proportional right, it's not an absolute right.
"Thousands of people are now hugely disrupted and also it's worth reminding ourselves that these people tried to stop a live motorway running.
"That is extraordinarily dangerous. It puts their lives at risk, it puts motorists' lives at risk and it puts police officers and other emergency services' lives at risk.
"This is not some sort of peaceful, 'isn't it a bit of fun to disrupt London, the southeast and most of the UK, it's an extremely dangerous maneuver that needs to be taken very seriously."

While a driver stuck in the queues, David told LBC: "A lot of people might have backed your cause, but it's ruined by you doing this sort of thing."
He added: "I've wasted so much diesel. I've caused so much pollution this morning.
"I'm really, really angry and upset by what they've done."
