Royal commentator Charles Rae insisted the feud between Prince Harry and Prince William and Prince Charles was still ongoing. While speaking on GB News, he said this was still an issue because Prince William and Prince Charles no longer trust the Duke. He added that they remain cautious of anything they say to Prince Harry in private.

Mr Rae said: "We have still got this ongoing row between Prince William and Prince Harry.

"It hasn't gone anywhere because William and Charles don't trust Harry.

"They are worried that any conversations they have are going to end up somewhere with Gayle King or Oprah Winfrey or the American television hosts."

Mr Rae also reflected on the relationship between Meghan and the rest of the family.

He claimed that while there was tension between them at Meghan they all chose to wish the Duchess a happy 40th birthday.

Mr Rae said: "The Queen and all the members of the family, William, Kate, Camilla and Prince Charles sent Meghan birthday wishes today.

"It is cordial from that point of view.

"But it is no point covering up or denying the fact that the relationship between Meghan and Harry and the royals are not great.

"Everything that they have done out there has annoyed the royals.

"Harry decided to write this book without telling them anything about it, he only told them when it was revealed that it was going to be in the newspapers."

Harry's decision to write a memoir is expected to make repairing the relationship with his family more difficult according to some royal experts.

Royal expert Nick Bullen reflected on Prince Harry's decision to write a book.

Mr Bullen said: "I think the bigger thing is that next year is the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

"It will be her 70th year and no member of the Royal Family has had a Platinum Jubilee.

"I think what has really upset people and upset people in the palace is that this book is coming out in the Queen's jubilee year.
