Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, has been seen greeting royal fans during an official engagement in Nairn. The Duchess was seen laughing with the crowds and meeting a specially dressed Stormtrooper, who was eager to speak to the visiting royal. Prince Charles and Camilla are currently on royal duty in Scotland and have been leading a jam-packed schedule of official engagements.

       Camilla had been meeting members of the Nairn community as she officially opened Team Hamish Splashpad, which was built in memory of eight-year-old Hamish, who sadly lost his battle to cancer in February 2017.

       #TeamHamish was founded shortly afterwards in 2017, to open community spaces within Nairn where families and children could meet and play.

       The Duchess of Cornwall also visited the environment charity Green Hive at Nairn Community Centre.

       For the official engagement, Camilla wore an emerald green dress, matched with a beige trench coat.

       She partnered the outfit with a pair of chic nude heels and wore her hair in her signature platinum blow-dry.

       Earlier this morning, the Duchess of Cornwall visited the Nairn Book and Arts Festival, where she was seen greeting a Star Wars fan in a Stormtrooper and kilt costume.

       Camilla has always been an avid reader, and following the success of her pandemic reading lists, she launched 'The Duchess of Cornwall's Reading Room', which offers her favourite literary suggestions.

       Speaking of the project, she said: "To me, reading is a great adventure. I’ve loved it since I was very small and I’d love everybody else to enjoy it as much as I do."
