Prince George, Charlotte and Louis to miss out on 'fun' memories due to Kate's iron fist

Labelled as Britain's most fashionable royal, Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge dresses her children in traditional but stylish attire but some think that the kids may "miss out on fun memories." After being a Duchess for over a decade, Kate's style has always oozed sophistication and elegance and as her and William's family has extended, she has passed on her sense of style to her three children. Royally US guest Rachel Burchfield discussed Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis' fashion on a recent podcast, saying: "It's a shame that these kids won't have the fun/absolute horror at looking at childhood photos of themselves and wondering, what the heck was I thinking or what the heck were our parents thinking?

"Like I do when I look at my childhood photos from the 80s and the 90s."

She continued: "Biker shorts, neon colours. I don't think they're going to have that issue when they look at childhood photos of themselves."

Despite the fact that the royal kids do not face the same embarrassment as the rest of us, Ms Burchfield also noted the trio's look is "perfect, it's so well put together always."

With the youngster's fashion under the same scrutiny as the older royals, Kate keeps them looking smart. But not all of their ensembles are designer, and some looks you can pick up from your local supermarket.

When celebrating his second birthday in April, Prince Louis wore a Tu Sainsburys shirt that cost twelve pounds.

Other firm favourites of the Duchess of Cambridge are Zara, GAP, Ralph Lauren and MANGO kids.

Sources have revealed that in recent years, Kate has opted to keep things casual and prefers, "cheap, highstreet brands."

It was also said that the children's "love for the outdoors," prompted her decision to step away from the old-fashioned clothes.

The Duchess of Cambridge and her children aren't the only fashion icons in the family, with Meghan Markle making headlines for her "reimaged regal style."

This was good news for the brands that she wore, especially independent shops that could never have achieved the same level of exposure without endorsement from the Duchess.

In 2018, Meghan was snapped in Black Halo's classic Jackie O dress.

A brand rep commented that after Meghan wore it, "he Classic Jackie O dress in black sold out in less than 10 hours."

It isn't just Meghan that has caused clothes to fly off the shelves, her son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor has also impacted shoppers.

When Archie appeared on his first official trip he wore baby blue pinstripe dungarees from H&M, that sold out in hours of the photographs being taken.

Princess Charlotte was valued at over £4 billion in relation to her impact on the British economy, which is largely part of her clothing.

As the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge get back to official duties, the family's "dress down" look may resume their traditional style.

On Wednesday, the Duchess of Cambridge will visit RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire where she will meet some of the people who supported the UK’s evacuation of civilians from Afghanistan.

She arrived at the base in the Queen's Sikorsky S-76 helicopter at about 2.15 pm.
