On September 11, James Middleton and Alizee Thevenet were married in Bormes-les-Mimosas, France. The brother of Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, announced he and Alizee tied the knot in a heartfelt Instagram post.

       In the post, James shows off his wedding while smiling with his wife Alizee.

       He wrote in the caption of the Instagram post: “Mr & Mrs Middleton.

       "Yesterday I married the love of my life surrounded by family, friends and of course a few dogs in the beautiful village [of] Bormes-les-Mimosas.

       “Words cannot describe how happy I am.”

       While James said he was “surrounded by family”, The Mail On Sunday reported Gary Goldsmith was absent from the wedding.

       Gary, who is James’s godfather, admitted to being “disappointed” to have missed the twice-delayed celebrations at Chateau Leoube.

       He is said have been unaware of the snub since he was holidaying in France at the time.

       Sources close to the wedding told the outlet it was “wild, fun and very drunken”.

       Reports from Hello! Magazine and news agency ANI held Prince William, Kate and their three children were all attendees at the weddings.

       It marked the first time the three-year-old Prince had left the UK, after being born in 2018.

       Other guests in attendance for James’s wedding were Kate's parents, Carole and Mike Middleton, along with her sister, Pippa and brother-in-law, James Matthews and their two young children, Arthur and Grace.

       Jean-Gabriel, retired French diplomat and the bride's father, was also in attendance.

       James and Alizee delayed their wedding twice due to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown restrictions.

       The couple got engaged back in fall 2019, and were supposed to be married in May 2020.

       A source told the Daily Mail in March 2020: “It's very sad, but it's just not practical to hold it in this crisis.”
