Much has been made since Megxit about the strained relationship between Prince William, 40, and his younger brother Prince Harry, 37. But almost a decade before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex fled Frogmore for North America, Prince Charles' two sons sat down for a tell-all interview with the BBC.

       During the interview, the pair confirmed they were rooming together while they were training for their helicopter licenses at RAF Shawbury's Defence Helicopter Flying School.

       "First time, last time we'll be living together - I assure you of that," said the younger prince.

       But it was the Duke of Cambridge who would dish the dirt on his difficult housemate.

       William revealed that his brother's sleeping habit also ensured he missed out on his beauty sleep.

       "He snores a lot," William claimed.

       He added: "He keeps me up all night."

       A cheeky, rosy-cheeked Prince Harry joked his older brother's comments would give off the wrong impression about their fraternal bond.

       "Oh God, they'll think we share a bed now," he said.

       "We're brothers, not lovers!"

       But the Duke of Cambridge also told the BBC Prince Harry had the better end of the deal.

       "Bearing in mind I cook - I feed him every day - I think he's done very well," he said.

       "Harry does the washing up but then he leaves most of it in the sink and then I come back in the morning and I have to wash it up.

       "I do a fair bit of tidying up after him."

       "Oh, the lies," protested Harry.

       While the bond between the brothers has strained in recent years, royal biographer Robert Lacey claimed in his 2020 book 'Battle of Brothers' that the pair made the comments "jokingly - or half-jokingly".
