The up-market restaurant is opening in Knightsbridge, central London, in the Park Tower Hotel.
The hotel is also home to The Hyde Bar.
While the prices for a steak at his restaurants are far from cheap, not everyone is impressed.
GQ, reviewing the New York branch, called the steak “mundane, somewhat tough and rather bland”.
When does Nusr-Et Steakhouse open?
After months and months of delays it looks like the London branch of the chain will be opening soon.
No official date has been set but Hot Dinners says it is scheduled to open in summer 2021.
Don’t expect prices to be cheap.
The giant Tomahawk steak is a signature dish, according to restaurant review site Square Meal.
It comes covered in gold leaf and will set back the diner a colossal ￡700.
Burgers are expected to cost around the ￡20 mark.
Square Meal says: “At Nusr-et Steakhouse, guests can expect to dine on a menu which includes signature dishes such as roasted asado short-rib, and Nusr-Et meat spaghetti, which consists of paper-thin cuts of seared beef, which diners are encouraged to twirl around their forks like they are eating pasta.”
It adds: “Elsewhere on the menu, you’ll find tartare selections and some light salads, while there’s a cocktail menu to help wash all of that steak down.”

The reason why the opening of the London branch has been delayed is not entirely clear.
Eater reported, Nusret G？k？e, the real name of Salt Bae, has been spending his time on the Greek party island Mykonos doing pull-ups while holding a stone between his feet and generally hanging out.
Rumours first emerged in September 2020 that G？k？e was intending to open a London branch.
But the Covid pandemic will have surely affected any plans.

Most are in Turkey but there are also branches in New York, Miami, Mykonos, Boston and Beverly Hills
David Beckham is said to be among the famous faces that have dined at one of the restaurants.

Who is Nusret G？k？e?
Nusret G？k？e is a Turkish chef and restauranteur who found fame as an Instagram influencer under the name Salt Bae.
He found internet fame in 2017 due to his videos featuring his extravagant way to season his steaks, which is essentially a theatrical way of adding salt.
The original video of his seasoning technique currently boasts nearly 17million views on his Instagram page and sparked an endless stream of memes and recreations of his style.
