THE Yorkshire Ripper’s jail belongings have been dished out to other lags — including his old tins of kippers.
While some of Peter Sutcliffe’s possessions were sent to his ex-wife, items such as his telly and DVD player went to other cons.

Leftovers are thought to include James Bond posters, tinned fish and Diet Coke
Other “leftovers” in the fiend’s cell are thought to include James Bond posters, tinned fish and Diet Coke.
Sutcliffe, who killed 13 women and attempted to kill seven more in the 1970s, was held at HMP Frankland, in Co Durham, until his death of Covid aged 74 last November.
Ex-wife Sonia, 70, who still owns the Bradford home she shared with Sutcliffe during his killing spree, was his next of kin despite their divorce in 1994.
She had his personal belongings shipped to her as she did not want to go to the jail to collect them.
But bosses at Frankland have dished out the fiend’s remaining things to other prisoners.
A prison source said yesterday: “Some of his stuff which was left in his cell went to other inmates. This included a prison-issue TV and DVD player.
“One older con was cock-a-hoop as he got his DVD player and another was given his TV.
“Some smaller items were also given out, including James Bond posters and things he used to buy from the canteen like bottles of Diet Coke and cordial, and tins of mackerel.
“Sutcliffe used to order in bulk — he’d buy tins of kippers and mackerel.
