       KUWAIT CITY, Jun 22: Turkmenistan capital Ashgabat, Hong Kong and Beirut are the three most expensive cities in the world for expats this year, according to the annual Cost of Living survey by global consultancy Mercer. Doha Qatar is the cheapest city in GCC followed by Kuwait which ranked on second spot.

       Kuwait ranking decreased by two places from 113 to 115, while Doha was ranked at 130th spot globally as cheapest city. Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh ranked first in GCC as the most expensive city and was ranked 29th globally, last year it was 31st, Dubai ranked 42nd, Abu Dhabi on 56 globally and Manama ranked 71st. Muscat was ranked at 108 globally
