CRESSIDA Dick is to be given two more years running the UK’s biggest police force despite a series of controversies.

Dame Cressida’s five-year contract expires next April, with no obvious replacement lined up.
Sources say she has yet to be officially notified of the two-year extension offer, which is backed by London mayor Sadiq Khan.
But she is expected to accept it, having spoken of her determination to carry on leading the Met.
Dame Cressida, 60, will be the first Met commissioner in more than two decades to serve seven years.
She has come under the cosh with London on course for a record high of teenage homicides.
The Met was also called “institutionally corrupt” by an inquiry into the 1987 murder of private eye Daniel Morgan.
