SABINA Nessa's housemate has revealed how she desperately texted her friend before the teacher's body was found dumped in a park.

       Officers believe the “brilliant” primary school teacher was killed by a stranger in Cator Park, South East London, just five minutes away from her home on Saturday.

       Cops have now arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of the young woman's murder.

       Overnight, it was reported CCTV images recovered by detectives show the moment Sabina was attacked as she left her home in Kidbrooke, South East London.

       And now Sabina's friend, who she lived with, has now revealed that she no longer feels safe in the area.

       Sabina's heartbroken flatmate, who didn't want to be named, told the Guardian: “I never thought something like this could happen to her.

       "I had been texting her and it’s not like her to not reply to my messages.

       “I don’t feel safe living here now.”

       Friends of Sabina have paid tribute to the teacher, and said that they are now walking in groups because they were so terrified after her death.

       One told The Sun “I can’t believe what’s happened. It’s horrific. My heart is broken for her.

       “Sabina was a beautiful woman - she had the whole world ahead of her.

       “It’s so sad. She was so special. Her job was a huge part of her life. The school pupils were so special to her.

       “We’re now walking in groups as a result of this. We’re not going out alone. I fear this will be a man who could strike again.

       “I’m scared. We’re now keeping our movements shared with each other. We’re not going out alone.”

       Sabina's death has sparked outrage after she joined a growing list of women killed in public spaces in London in recent months.

       A vigil, supported by Reclaim These Streets, will take place today at Peglar Square, in Kidbrooke, to pay tribute to her.

       It will take place at 7pm, and those who attend are encouraged to bring their own candles to show their respects.

       Officers have confirmed that they will be attending the vigil at a press conference.

       'I DON'T FEEL SAFE'

       Reassurance patrols also took place in Kidbrooke Village with cops handing out personal attack alarms and leaflets on personal safety.

       Sabina’s devastated sister has now paid tribute to her, writing online: “My beautiful, talented and caring sister.

       “My inspiration to always put myself first and never let anybody put me down.

       “Never in my life did I or my sisters or my mum or dad think this could happen to us.

       “May Allah grant her Jannah. Ameen.”

       Sabina’s cousin Zubel Ahmed added that her parents have been left “absolutely devastated” by her death.

       Speaking to ITV News he said: "She was due to go to see her family this weekend.

       “She could not even do that one last time. Nothing is making sense to us.”

       He added the “shock has not sunk in” and she was a “beautiful, kind, caring soul.”
