SEREMBAN: A lorry transporting a tonne of durians spilt its load when it landed on its side following an accident along the North-South Expressway near here.
Nilai OCPD Supt Mohd Fazley Ab Rahman said the 25-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle when one of its rear tyres burst in the 2pm incident on Wednesday (June 23).
The driver and his 52-year-old attendant were heading towards Kuala Lumpur from Segamat when the incident happened at km279.9.
"The accident happened about 7km from the Seremban R&R.
"Both the driver and his attendant escaped with light injuries," Supt Mohd Fazley said in a statement.
Supt Mohd Fazley said the accident is being investigated under Rule 10 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959 for failing to control a vehicle and causing an accident.
